Product Features
Every production stage — from billet selection to controlled cooling and coil packaging — is managed to support consistent downstream processing.
Hot Rolled Round Section
Feature: Uniform circular cross-section delivered in coil form, optimized for subsequent wire drawing and cold forming processes.
Advantage: The consistent round profile reduces die wear during drawing and minimizes breakage at high drawing speeds.
Benefit: Helps the buyer maintain stable production throughput and reduce tooling replacement cost.
Controlled Cooling
Feature: Stelmor conveyor cooling or equivalent process provides uniform mechanical properties and a manageable scale layer suitable for mechanical descaling or pickling.
Advantage: The uniform cooling profile produces consistent tensile strength and elongation across the entire coil length.
Benefit: Helps the buyer eliminate unexpected wire breaks during drawing and simplifies the surface preparation step.
Smooth Surface Finish
Feature: Low incidence of surface defects such as laps, slivers, and scale pockets that can interrupt high-speed wire drawing operations.
Advantage: Fewer surface defects means less frequent line stops and reduced scrap during wire drawing and galvanizing.
Benefit: Helps the buyer achieve higher line utilization and lower material waste in daily production.
Coil Packaging
Feature: Coils are compressed and strapped with a minimum of four steel bands, with individual coil tags showing heat number, grade, diameter, weight, and production date for full traceability.
Advantage: The compact banded coil enables efficient container loading and protects the material from handling damage during transit.
Benefit: Helps the buyer verify incoming material quickly and coordinate warehouse storage without re-weighing or re-identifying each coil.
Applications
Low carbon wire rod serves as the starting material for a wide range of downstream wire and fastener products.
Wire Drawing
Rod is drawn through carbide dies to produce wire for construction tying, fencing, baling, and general industrial use.
Galvanized Wire & Nails
Low carbon wire rod drawn and hot-dip or electro-galvanized produces wire for gabions, chain-link fencing, barbed wire, nails, and fasteners.
Welded Wire Mesh
Drawn wire from rod is fed into automatic mesh welding lines to produce panels for concrete reinforcement, fencing, and industrial grating.
Our Workshop
With 30 years of experience in the steel trade industry, we operate with supporting production and processing lines including hot rolling, controlled cooling (Stelmor-type), shearing, and coil compaction equipment.
Our quality control process covers raw material billet inspection, in-process dimensional monitoring, surface defect detection, and mechanical property sampling — with a pre-production sample before mass production and final inspection before every shipment.
Monthly production capacity and flexible scheduling support both trial orders and container-volume shipments.
Packing and Delivery
Coils are compressed, strapped with a minimum of four steel bands, and secured for container or flat-rack loading. Standard packing is in bundle with steel strip or on wooden pallets; custom packing is available per customer requirement.
Each coil is individually tagged with heat number, grade, diameter, net weight, and production date for full traceability. Coil weight typically ranges from 800 kg to 2,000 kg depending on diameter and customer specification.
Certificate
Our products are manufactured and tested in accordance with applicable ASTM, API, BS, and GB/T standards.
We provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC) with each shipment, documenting chemical composition, mechanical properties, and dimensional inspection results. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, or equivalent) is available upon request.
