Global crude steel output in November fell 1.0% year-on-year

In November 2019, the crude steel output of 64 countriesincluded in the World Steel Association's statistics was 147.8 million tons, ayear-on-year decrease of 1.0%.

China's crude steel output in November 2019 was 80.3 milliontons, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%. India ’s crude steel output in Novemberwas 8.9 million tons, down 2.8% year-on-year. Japan ’s crude steel output inNovember was 7.7 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.6%. South Korea ’scrude steel output in November was 5.9 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of0.5%.
