According to customs statistics, the country imported 250million tons of coal in the first 10 months, a year-on-year increase of 11.5%.Accordingto customs statistics, in the first 10 months, the country imported 250 milliontons of coal, an increase of 11.5% year-on-year, of which imports were 23.08million tons in October, an increase of 8.5%; cumulative exports were 3.94million tons, down 41%. 

From January to October, according to relevant data, the coaloutput of coal enterprises above designated size in the first ten months of theyear was 2.9 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%. The cumulativeimport of coal was 250 million tons, an increase of 11.5%. Railway coalshipments were 1.97 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%. At the endof October, the national key power plants stored 91.99 million tons of coal,which can be used for 28 days.

Railway coal transportation continued to grow in October. InOctober, the national railway coal shipment volume was 200 million tons, ayear-on-year increase of 6.5%. From January to October, it shipped 1.97 billiontons of coal, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%.
