In the same period last year, the output was 1.705 million shorttons, and the capacity utilization rate was 73.2%. Crude steel output rose 10%year-on-year and fell 0.3% on a week-on-week basis. In the week ending October13, 2018, the domestic domestic crude steel output was 1.881 million shorttons, and the capacity utilization rate was 80.2%.
After adjustment, by October 20, 2018, the cumulative crudesteel output in the United States was 76.076 million short tons, the capacityutilization rate was 77.7%, and the cumulative crude steel output rose 4.9%year-on-year. In the same period of 2017, it was 72.524 million short tons and74.3%.
