Korean hot-rolled stainless steel plate exports exceeded 70,000 tons in August

In August of this year, South Korea's hot-rolled stainlesssteel plate exports exceeded 70,000 tons, which is the fourth month of thisyear, exports exceeded 70,000 tons.

Specifically, in August this year, South Korea exported72,749 tons of hot-rolled stainless steel sheets. In addition, the month ofexporting more than 70,000 tons this year is January, May and June, of which74,064 tons were exported in May, 70,666 tons were exported in June, and 73,836tons were exported in January. The export of hot-rolled stainless steel sheetsin Korea exceeded 70,000 tons for the first time and dates back to January2014. At that time, the export of stainless steel hot-rolled sheets reached72,181 tons.

From January to July, the total export volume of Koreanstainless steel hot rolled sheets reached 471,308 tons, an increase of 16.6%over the same period last year. In terms of export destinations, exports toother Asian countries increased by 19.0% to 349,050 tons, and exports to LatinAmerica reached 12,657 tons, an increase of 626.0% from a year ago; on thecontrary, exports to North America were only 258 tons. , a year-on-year declineof 46.6%.
