In North America, crude steel production in the first half of2018 was 59 million tons, up 2.4% year-on-year. The CIS crude steel output inthe first half of 2018 was 50.5 million tons, up 2.8% year-on-year.
China's crude steel output in June 2018 was 80.2 milliontons, up 7.5% year-on-year. Japan's crude steel output in June was 8.8 milliontons, up 4.2% year-on-year.
