South Korea's stainless steel cold rolled sheet inventory hit a new high in four months

    According to statistics of Korea Cold Rolled Stainless SteelAssociation, as of the end of May, South Korea's stainless steel cold-rolledsheet stocks have approached 100,000 tons, an increase of 4.3% from the end ofApril and a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%.

    This is the highest point of South Korea's stainless steelcold-rolled plate stockpiles since February of this year. Inventories ofstainless steel cold-rolled steel sheets were as high as 110,096 tons inJanuary this year. However, from February to April this year, South Korea'sstainless steel cold rolled plate inventory is relatively high, with an averagemonthly average of more than 90,000 tons.

    At the same time, South Korea's stainless steel cold-rolledsheet production reached 112,894 tons in May, down 10.6% from the 126,000 tonsin April and 2% over the same period of last year. From a sales point of view,in May, South Korea's stainless steel cold-rolled plate sales reached 11.2409million tons, down 10.7% year-on-year, an increase of 1.4%.
