Kobe Steel, a copper tube products have been canceled JIS certification

  Japan's KobeSteel said on the 15th that its subsidiary Kobe Steel and Copper Company, abrass product, was canceled Japan Industrial Standards (JIS) certification.This is the second time in a month that the company has been punished.

  Kobe Steelpublished a press release on the same day that a copper tube product of KobeSteel & Copper Company failed to meet the quality standards stipulated byJIS and was canceled JIS certification. The company received relevant notice onthe same day and the product may not be reused anymore in the future Logo.

  Theunqualified brass products were produced by Kobe Steel and Pipe Co., Ltd. atthe Qin Ye factory in Qinye, Kanagawa. A seamless copper tube produced at thisfactory was just canceled JIS certification in late October.

  According toKyodo News reported on the 15th, Qin Ye factory due to the imperfect qualitymanagement system, has been the International Organization for Standardization(ISO) to cancel the ISO9001 certification.
