US steel imports continued to rise in May

   US Department of Commerce data show that in May 2017 US steel imports were 3.15 million tons, an increase of 19.4%, growth of 6.5%, imports for seven consecutive months to maintain year on year growth.

   Compared with the April 2017, the overall change is not significant, steel pipe, steel plate fells between 1.7% -5.5%, while the steel wire, rebar and semi-timber growth Between 4.4% and 11.9%.
