Ukrainian steel production fell in the first half
According to the Ukrainian mining and metallurgical production data, steel production from January to June 2017, down 17%; steel production 8.728 million tons, down 20%; pig iron production 940.4 million tons, down 21% Production of 5.037 million tons, down 22%; steel pipe production 506,000 tons, an increase of 27%.
June, the production of 1.594 million tons of steel, 1.35 million tons of rolling, 151.1 million tons of pig iron, 98,400 tons of steel, 861,000 tons of coke.
2016 steel output 24.2 million tons, up 6%; pig iron 23.6 million tons - up 8%, rolling 21.4 million tons - up 6%; steel pipe 84,900 tons, down 1%; coke 12.773 million tons, an increase of 10%.
