    According to data released by the Arero Argentino of Argentina this Tuesday, crude steel production in Argentina in March this year increased by 20.8% to 473,900 tons, compared with 392,300 tons in the same period last year.At the same time, crude steel production rose by 13.56% in March from the previous month, and crude steel production in February was 417,300 tons.

    The better performance of Argentina’s crude steel production in March was mainly attributable to the increase in demand from construction sites, the automotive industry and the energy sector this month.Acero Argentino stated that due to the increasing investment in oil and natural gas, the development trend of products related to the energy sector is also active.

    In March, the output of Argentina's HRC increased by 15.61% year-on-year to 45.91 million tons, and production of cold coils increased by 1.6% year-on-year to 105,600 tons.In the first quarter of this year, Argentina’s total crude steel production was 1.23 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 24.9%.
